Vintage handmade Romanian shirt from Transylvania size S - M
A genuine hallmark of the shepherds in Carpathian Mountains, in between Sibiu and Valcea counties, the costume of this area has a well defined personality through the black and white contrast which the basic pieces display. The beauty and the elegance of the apparel aroused the admiration of the intelligentsia, who adopted this costume as as a national emblem at the beginning of the 20th century.

length: 50 cm or 19. 7 inches.
around chest: 118 cm or 46. 45 inches
sleeves length from the base of the neck: 62 cm or 24. 4 inches. The sleeves are 3/4 long sleeves
Good armhole size for M size.
Good condition, clean and nice with normal traces of the wear for a dress of this age. The black hand embroideries are slightly discolored. This is normal for a dress of this age.
The neck is the original one..
