Croatian peasant blouse, Slavic hand embroidered dated 1961 ethnic blouse M - L - code 6
Gorgeous Croatian blouse from Banat, hand embroidered with mainly dark brown / dark cherry brown / aubergine, blue cotton thread on fine commercial cotton fabric. The embroideries are tinny and delicate and splendid hand done. The blouse is vintage and it is hand made in 1961, the date is hand embroidered on chest.
The blouse is originated from Banat folkloric region of Romania and it is worn of the ethnic Croatians living here.
Size M / L but check the measurements:
around chest: 120 cm or 47. 24 inches
length: 60 cm (23. 6 inches)
sleeves length from the base of the neck to the lower hem: 80 cm or 31. 5 inches. The sleeves have a frill with elastic.
Condition: good with minor traces of the wear. No tear or repair. Beautiful blouse of Croatians living in Transylvania.
