Croatian peasant blouse, Slavic hand embroidered vintage ethnic blouse S - M - no. RT
Gorgeous Croatian blouse from Banat, hand embroidered with mainly dark brown / dark cherry brown / aubergine, blue cotton thread on fine commercial cotton fabric. The embroideries are tinny and delicate and splendid hand done. The blouse is vintage and it is hand made in between 1930 and 1950.
The blouse is originated from Banat folkloric region of Romania and it is worn of the ethnic Croatians living here.
Size S - M but check the measurements:
around chest: 106 cm or 41. 7 inches
length: 63 cm (24. 8 inches)
sleeves length from the base of the neck to the lower hem: 84 cm or 33 inches. The sleeves have a frill with elastic.
Condition: good with minor traces of the wear. No tear or repair. The collar is more used than the rest of the blouse.
