Romanian peasant handmade round skirt, VALNIC, handmade ethnic skirt - universal size
A pleated over skirt, hand woven with white silk thread on a black handwoven hemp - cotton background. It is part of the Romanian costume from Mehedinti county and it is absolutely gorgeous.
Skirts length: 63 cm or 24. 8 inches. It is adjustable with tie strings around waist.
Around lower hem: 165 cm or 65 inches
It is pleated around the upper hem and it is adjustable with strings around waist.
Age of the skirt: 60 - 80 years
Condition: good condition showing the normal traces of the wear for its age. No tear, no noticeable stain, beautiful and rare skirt.
