Romanian peasant costume, handmade old Romanian ethnic outfit size M/L
Hand made Romanian peasant costume containing 4 pieces:
1 Gorgeous 50 - 60 years old Romanian traditional blouse and skirt. The blouse and skirt are hand embroidered with white silk thread on white commercial linen. It is decorated also with tiny metallic sequins.
The blouse and skirt are in very good condition, having only minor traces of the wear.
Age of the costume: 50 - 60 years old
Size: M or L for a short lady because the blouse is short
Measurements: blouses length: 50 cm or 19. 68 inches
around chest: 138 cm or 54. 33 inches
Around hips the skirt is: 120 cm or 47. 24 inches.
Skirts length: 74 cm or 29. 13 inches
2. A pleated over skirt, hand woven with white silk thread on a black handwoven hemp - cotton background.
Skirts length: 63 cm or 24. 8 inches. It is adjustable with tie strings around waist. Around lower hem: 150 cm or 59 inches
It is pleated around the upper hem and it is adjustable with strings.
Age of the skirt: 60 - 80 years
Condition: good condition showing the normal traces of the wear for its age.
