Antique handwoven pair of aprons from Banat - Romanian peasant costumes aprons
Pair of antique aprons from Banat / Carbunari folkloric region. The aprons are narrow and are handwoven with wool, covered by compact embroideries and decorated with metallic spangles. They are very old, over 50 - 80 years old.
Condition: good with traces of the wear. Some metallic spangles are missing and some are rusted. The back apron have few reparations which was covered by metallic spangles.
Sizes of the aprons: 63 cm x 17 cm or 24. 8 inches x 6. 7 inches (front apron)
76 cm x 17 cm or (30 inches x 6. 7 inches)
