This is a vintage , 50 years old traditional Romanian woven wool carpet / rug with floral pattern . The main colour , background is white . Motifs in green , red , dark pink , dark blue and brown . Hand woven in Northern Transylvania 50 years ago . In Romania , the carpets / rugs are placed on the walls or floor .

Condition : good condition with traces of wear but no holes or stains . On the back side is a stain of dirt due to the packing and the storage of the carpet ( it was kept in a dowry chest for years ) , that I captured in my photos . On the front side there is no stain .
